A frozen northern wasteland, the country of Timus was considered impenetrable for hundreds of years, until the Miser Pecunia, Inimicus Divitiarum, and Inimicus Vulgus decided to use their vast amounts of wealth to create staggeringly expensive underground cities there. The two largest, the capital Underwell, and The People's City, each have hundreds of thousands of residents underground beneath the snow and ice.
