A large, warm, southern country on the mainland of Extremus Terra, Heronon is filled with life. The Turbae Puellae and the Odi both make their home here and comprise the majority of the human population, but like Berenford to its north, a number of races have a presence in this hilly grassland. Two river systems originate in the mountains of Heronon, the Heronon Heights, and fuel the lush landscape, including the bulk of the Terran River, the largest river on the planet. A large portion of the southeastern part of the country is comprised of the Lakes of Fertility, which contain two of the four largest lakes in the world. Warm air blowing from the Southern Ocean pulls the moisture from the lakes to the west, contributing even more to the lushness of Heronon, and also helping to cause the arid deserts of Kortalis.
