Completely inaccessible by outsiders, almost nothing is known about the people of the Lost Realm. Any maps created for the area are a guess at best. The inland chain is supposedly penetrated by a land bridge, called the Impassible Isthmus because no person has ever successfully navigated the constant, freezing rain of the Deadly Rainlands that surround the isthmus, although it is known that the islands are inhabited because strangely, people seem to be able to cross the isthmus and rainlands if coming from the other direction, from the islands themselves. How any resident who leaves ever gets back, no one knows. The vast bay that contains the islands, the Lost Bay, is notorious for its storms, which are so unpredictable that some sailors say that they actually hunt down ships to sink them.
