One of two arid countries that form the home of the violent Vis, the Jorir Basin is the more hospitable of the two. Mostly a scrubland, the Basin does not experience the devastating storms that make the Jorir Wastes so infamous, so there is more room for small amounts of water and patches of life. The Vis have built the largest defensive fortress in the world on these lands, the Crimson Spire, which also serves both as the nation's capital and as the race's capital.
