Outcast to the desolate and stinking swamps of the Hostes Mark, the Opprimo Hostes are a disappointing reminder of why the Turbae Puellae exist. Comprised only of men and steadfast in the outmoded and closed-minded belief that women should be subservient to men, they are, in reality, simply relatively dimwitted, and thus frightened of women. They are pitied more than hated by most of the races of Extremus Terra other than Turbae Puellae, but their lack of awareness and intelligence makes them an easy target for manipulation, and a few races benefit from their existence by using them and tend to act as caretakers for them. Among the races known to help keep them alive are the Acerbus Cunctor, the Inimicus Vulgus, the Inimicus Divitiarum, and the Miser Pecunia.

They become ratlike over the course of their lives as they rummage the swamps for food and act subservient to the races manipulating them, and they become more and more helpless and primitive as they age. Because of this slow transformation in their bodies and minds, and because they do not allow females nearby and thus cannot reproduce, there are rumors told throughout Extremus Terra that the Acerbus Cunctor and the two Inimicus races choose to sacrifice some of their own weakest members to keep them alive, slowly forcing them to degenerate into what the Opprimo Hostes are known to become, but no one seems to be able to find the truth on how they survive.
